• A roast is a form of humor in which a guest of honor is subject to good-natured jokes at their expense which are artfully crafted to amuse a larger audience. These events are constructed to honor individuals in a unique way through precisely planned and executed humor. The guest of honor is surrounded by friends, family and well-wishers, who can receive some of the same treatment as well during the course of the evening. The party and presentation itself are both referred to as a roast, and the Roast Host is the ringleader.

  • The content we create for our custom roast events are a wonderful mix of hyperbole, character humor, inside jokes, and wild moments that all come together in a special celebration. Our process for ensuring the success of your event includes selecting friends and family who have a range of relationships with the guest of honor. For example, for a retirement party roast, we’d bring in co-workers. For a bachelor party roast, we’d bring in college buddies. The Roast Host works will each person to ensure their contribution makes the collective event a success. It’s not all on you!

  • The Roast Host is responsible for leading the event, and you can have as little or as much involvement as you want. The additional friends and family that are invited to participate will make the event even more dynamic, and we are always able to find folks willing to hold the mic.

  • We are more likely to encounter folks that drag on once they get ahold of the microphone! The Roast Host is responsible for ensuring the event keeps flowing and doesn’t become tedious for the audience. We are with you every step of the way.

  • The Roast Host will not only help you create jokes that will get laughs, but will artfully weave in genuine praise and heartfelt tribute that help the roastee not feel criticized or insulted. We will establish some ground rules during our planning of your custom roast event, and develop a strategy as to what will be most appropriate.

  • A roast party can work in venues from your backyard to a rented event hall or ballroom. The Roast Host will set up the room with a designated seat for the guest of honor, and allocate space for any additional participants.

  • Of course. Have a watch!
